What materials do you use?
We use Argentium Silver, Sterling Silver, 14k Gold-fill and Bronze to craft our pieces.
Argentium alloys do not contain nickel.
Argentium Silver is 100% recycled silver.
Argentium Silver & 14k Gold-filled is hypo-allergenic and antibacterial.
Argentium Silver is 100% recycled, low maintenance and tarnish resistant with a bright finish that holds up to wear better than traditional Sterling Silver. Argentium Silver can be polished to the original finish with a polishing cloth or allowed to patina naturally.
Bronze is a perfect compliment to Gold but more affordable. Bronze can also be polished to maintain its original finish with a polishing cloth or allowed to patina over time.
14k Gold-filled is not to be confused with gold plating. Gold filled is more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. Anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is an affordable alternative to solid gold and can last just as long.
How do I care for my jewelry?
Jewelry made using Silver or Bronze will naturally patina over time. These metals can be polished back to their original finish if desired, using a polishing cloth or can be left to patina naturally.
To help your jewelry stay beautiful and bright, you should store your silver and bronze in an airtight bag (a zip-lock baggy works great), in a dark dry place. We recommend that you do not use harsh commercial cleaners on your jewelry.
We also recommend that you do not sleep, swim or shower in your jewelry. Perfumes, lotions and sunscreens should also be avoided to help your jewelry last.
